🏚️Tired landlords
What it is
A home owned by a person (not a company) that does not claim the Florida homestead exemption, so it is not the owner's main home. Most are rentals or second homes.
Why these owners may sell
Owners who don't live in a home carry the work of tenants, repairs and insurance from a distance. Some are ready to cash out.
A signal, not a prediction. Many owners in this group won't sell.
How to approach them
- Talk numbers: rent vs. sale proceeds (our net-proceeds calculator helps).
- Mention selling with a tenant in place if that's an option you handle.
- Mail to the owner's mailing address, not the property.
How we find them
No homestead exemption on the state roll, owned by an individual. The roll has no purchase date, so we can't say how long they've owned it.
